HUBER+SUHNER
Composites is a business unit of the globally active HUBER+SUHNER Group. Composites
offers fiber composite solutions in carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) and glass
fiber reinforced plastics (GFRP). These fiber composite materials are made up of carbon or glass fibers
embedded in a resin matrix. We optimize the material characteristics – for example an extremely high
mechanical strength to weight ratio – by selecting the type of fibers and matrix accordingly. That is
why our know-how and products are in high demand wherever ultimate performance and quality are indispensable.
Single-source
design and production
With our own R&D department
and four different production technologies in-house, we can offer our customers fully integrated solutions
in state-of-the-art fiber composite materials – on a single-source basis. We use four different production
technologies: filament winding, prepreg, press, and injection technology. This enables us to optimally
apply CFRP and GFRP composite materials by selecting the most suitable technology for the component
in question.
